Founded in 1987, the GSM Association (GSMA) is a global trade association representing over 700 GSM mobile phone operators across 218 countries of the world. In addition, more than 200 Manufacturers and suppliers support the Association initiative as associate members. GSMA plays a pivotal role in the development of GSM platform and the Global wireless Industry. Each year the GSMA brings together such operators and suppliers to the largest event in this industry and currently on the calendar.

Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona for the past three years has been handled by EF-GSM as official freight forwarder and site handling contractor. This contract has now been extended for the same designation for 2010.

In further recognition of our services to this Industry and the GSMA, our organisation continues to enjoy our official status for Mobile Asia Congress.
